What makes Cercle de Dégustation exciting is the opportunity to taste regularly an authentic, exciting and specially selected champagne straight from its producer. All you have to do is create an occasion to enjoy it and we’ll do the rest.
Every month, Cercle de Degustation members receive a bottle of Augustin’s personally chosen artisan champagne of the month. As a member you will be one of the first people outside of France to have sampled Augustin’s latest find.
Approximately 10 days before you receive your champagne we provide extensive information about the champagne’s producer, vines, grapes, production process and flavours. When you at last pop open the bottle you will be able to recognise and appreciate the subtleties of flavour that our growers have lovingly created for you.
With Cercle de Degustation it is more than just opening a bottle, it’s about revelling in the unique tastes and flavours found in traditionally hand-crafted champagne and turning a simple pleasure into a regular indulgence.
With our advanced information you will learn about the producer’s soil, growing methods and production techniques, read about the history of the vineyard and the family who own it and discover personal recommendations for foods which will suits the flavour of the champagne. All this will heighten your anticipation, tantalise your taste buds and allow you to prepare your favoured accompaniments to enjoy with the champagne when it arrives.
